included with Finale. Now there’s no need to go through a separate registration
process with Native Instruments in order to use the Garritan sounds included

| "Finale's user registration process is easy and similar to many
other software products. They clearly have thought this through carefully, in
that they allow you 30 days to use the program (without registering) and you
can install it (repeatedly) on two computers. This means I can work at a
client's site or on rented equipment without having to contact anyone at
MakeMusic."

What is the difference between Registration and Authorization?
Registration is the process of declaring ownership of your copy of
Finale family notation software. Once you have registered your serial number,
you own it forever. You never have to register it again.
Authorization is the act when you unlock the Finale family notation software on
your computer so that the print and save functions will not be disabled 30 days
after installation. You need to do this each time you upgrade your software
version, update your computer or re-format your hard drive.
*Single unit license of Finale and Finale Allegro allow two (2)
authorized installations for personal use on two operating systems. (This can be on
two different computers if the software is only installed on a single operating system
on each computer or on a single computer if you install the software on two different
operating systems on the same computer.) Finale PrintMusic and Finale Songwriter
allow one (1) authorized installation for personal use on a single operating system on your computer.
Finale, Allegro, and PrintMusic Lab Packs allow installations on up to 5 institution-
owned operating systems in any combination of Mac OS X and/or Windows platforms.
A Finale site license allows installation on multiple institution-owned operating systems
up to the number of seats purchased in any combination of Mac OS X and/or Windows
platforms.
